Happy New Year!!!
It is now the fourth day of January 2015. Been thinking of what I've done to prepare for this whole new year. Everybody is busy with setting resolution to be achieved for current year (perhaps some have done it at the end of 2014). Me? Honestly saying, I'm still struggling to pick up some ideas specifically as my resolution. Setting resolution or we might say goals/targets is not as simple as writing down all you want to be achieved. If we seriously want to have a breakthrough for our resolution, let's take it more seriously. Have you ever heard about SMART goal setting? It's an acronym of some criteria to be meet as an effective goal setting, which are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (or timely).
I learn about this goal setting criteria from my student development team in campus. So, talking back to our big theme here, let's re-think of our resolutions, has it met all the criteria? If it hasn't, it will be better to correct it right now, reset it and make it "SMART".
Last but not least, wish us a more dazzling year of 2015! Hopefully all the resolutions comes into real by the time going.
Cheers, Ika
